Sale Youth Choir is for anybody who enjoys singing aged between 13 and 18 years old.

In this choir, young singers will continue their vocal development, learn to read sheet music fluently, improve their musicianship skills through ear training and regular vocal exercises.

This choir is an SATB choir which means we frequently sing in 4 part harmony with a range of high and low voices.

Sale Youth Choir provides training from professional choral experts every week with the group aiming towards performance opportunities.

Sale Youth Choir is led by Matthew Roughley - a highly experienced choral conductor and music educator who has worked with some of the UK's finest youth music organisations including; The Halle Youth Ensembles, Opera North Youth Ensembles and the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain. He is supported by assistant conductor Olivia Hamblyn and accompanist Jonathan Ainscough.
